UUCB proudly partners with Interfaith United at their annual United in Thanksgiving and other events throughout the year, celebrating the power of community, and sharing our common values with diverse faith partners in Brevard County.

Interfaith United is led by 20 faith and community leaders who come from diverse faith traditions and practices throughout Brevard County, Florida. As people of faith, what we have in common is much greater than our differences. Together, we work to build relationships, create a better understanding of different faiths and traditions, and promote unity as a combined force for service. In June 2020 three separate organizations, Interfaith Affiliations of Brevard, Interfaith Connections, and United in Thanksgiving, merged to become Interfaith United, a nonprofit corporation in the state of Florida. With combined resources, the events and service projects of the three organizations will be expanded.
About United in Thanksgiving
United in Thanksgiving is an annual event for people of all beliefs and traditions to come together as Americans to give thanks. Each year the event is held at a different venue and includes a program of prayer, music, inspiring messages, and discussion.
Each year we present a new United in Thanksgiving program with diverse faith leaders and youth representatives addressing themes of Love, Forgiveness and Unity. Live music features vocalists as well as variety of other musical traditions. We’ll end with the audience joining all the musicians and vocalists to sing together, “Draw the Circle Wide”. It’s such a joy for us to work together with caring people of so many different faiths, to build relationships, and see the ways that they live their faiths. We hope that all who attend, either in person or virtually, will see that what we have in common as people of faith is much greater than our differences.
